De-plugged: An Electronically Challenged Evening of Music
Let’s get back to basics for a minute. This is about craft. This is a celebration of mechanical noise, a dead straight line from strum to live stream. This is pure talent, able to create electricity without actually needing any.
That talent includes The Grownup Noise, proclaimed by The Tucson Weekly to be “A band that revels in the beauty of a simple melody delivered with minimal enhancement for maximum emotional effect” and Nemes, the arena-sized folk rockers that Worcester Magazine calls “a nuclear power plant’s worth of energy”. Finally, soul-guitarist and the 2012 Boston Music Awards winner for Blues Artist of the Year Peter Parcek.
Curated and hosted by Grammy-award winning producer and engineer Ducky Carlisle.
Please note: This event is a video production. Guests are strongly encouraged to arrive by 8PM. Guests arriving after 8PM will be admitted as space allows.
